The Cabanas

The Cabanas Lamu is one of the properties featured by Nziza Hospitality on Kenya’s Lamu Island. The property features a small collection of beautifully designed cabanas, each tucked among the trees just steps from the beach. Every cabana has its own unique style and comfortably accommodates between two and four guests. The spacious Kailani cabana is the standout option, offering a private infinity pool and elevated ocean views. With a maximum capacity of just 24 guests, the property maintains a quiet and exclusive atmosphere throughout.

Each cabana is thoughtfully equipped with comfortable beds dressed in quality cotton linen, ceiling fans, complimentary drinking water, a safe, USB charging points, and English three-pin plug sockets. The en-suite bathrooms include hot showers and luxury amenities. The property is powered primarily by solar energy with a backup generator, and complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout, although mobile phone reception can occasionally be limited.

Water activities vary with the seasons, with the calmer Kaskazi season offering ideal conditions for most marine adventures.

The property welcomes children aged four and above, with childminding services available on request. Stays include full-board accommodation, use of the swimming pool and shared facilities, complimentary Wi-Fi, and laundry service. Guests arrive via scheduled or charter flights to Lamu’s Manda Airport, followed by a scenic 25 to 30-minute speedboat transfer to the property.
