Set on the private Ongava Game Reserve beside Etosha National Park, Anderssons at Ongava offers stylish accommodation, exceptional wildlife viewing, and a safari experience inspired by conservation.
Overview
Located on the private Ongava Game Reserve, next to Etosha National Park, Anderssons at Ongava offers a modern safari experience in one of Namibia’s best wildlife destinations. Named after explorer Charles Andersson, the lodge combines contemporary design, comfortable accommodation, and a strong commitment to conservation.
The lodge features spacious suites built from natural stone, with large glass windows that frame beautiful views of the surrounding bush. Each suite has a private viewing deck overlooking a popular waterhole, allowing guests to watch wildlife from the comfort of their room. A live camera feed from the waterhole and an underground photographic hide provide even more opportunities to enjoy close-up wildlife encounters.
The main lodge overlooks the waterhole, creating a relaxing place to enjoy a meal or drink while watching animals come and go throughout the day. Thoughtfully designed interiors and open spaces make the most of the surrounding landscape, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
Anderssons at Ongava is also home to the Ongava Research Centre, where important wildlife and conservation research takes place. Guests can visit the centre to learn about the reserve’s wildlife, ongoing conservation projects, and the work being done to protect Namibia’s natural heritage.
Combining modern comfort, outstanding wildlife viewing, and meaningful conservation, Anderssons at Ongava offers an unforgettable safari experience on the edge of Etosha National Park.
